The race organizer recommends that all participants start with a bicycle that meets the requirements for participating in bicycle races or at least does not conflict with the Road Traffic Act.

Service and garbage

Our cycling venture is founded on social conscience, responsibility, care, low threshold, and development. It started with a request, and now we have become a limited company. And even if Morsa Sykkel separates from Gravel Scandinavia AS, there will remain no solid bulkheads between us. It is hardly a secret that we want Gravel Scandinavia AS to be a natural center for gravel cycling in parts of Europe. Gravel Scandinavia AS is the Unionsrittet and everything that goes with it. There is application and destination development, bicycle rental, repair, and further development of our good connections with the bicycle industry. We set the bar high!

Morsa Sykkel will continue its tireless work with the Morsa model.  Through cycling and cycling-related efforts, we will do a fair day's work for all those who deserve a chance, the community that can be introduced to new goals and objectives.

The Unionsrittet is and should be a pollution-free cycling competition. Why that the individual rider has the same amount of paper and packaging with them at the finish line as at the start? In addition, waste sorting containers will be set out.

Unionrittet collaborates with the Tour of Scandinavia. Tour of Scandinavia has developed and produced a mobile waste collection solution that Unionrittet is looking forward to testing.

We welcome you to a magical cycling experience!

HSE PLAN

HMS PLAN UNION RIDE 2023:

  1. General guidelines:

  • The race management must ensure that the safety of the participants, volunteers and the public is safeguarded.

  • Everyone involved must be familiar with the ride's HSE plan and follow it at all times.

  • An HSE meeting must be held before the start of the race, where everyone involved is informed about the plan and their responsibilities.

  • The race management must ensure that there is sufficient first aid equipment and personnel available throughout the race.

  • A contingency plan must be created for handling any accidents or crises that may arise.

    2. Special guidelines for the bicycle race:

  • All participants must have read and understood the ride's HSE plan before they are allowed to take part in the ride.

  • There must be a technical check of the bikes before the start of the race, to make sure that the bikes are in good condition.

  • There must be sufficient water stations along the ride, and riders must be encouraged to drink enough water and to take breaks if necessary.

  • It must be well signposted along the route, and all participants must receive a map of the route upon registration.

  • If necessary, safety zones must be created along the route to protect the participants and the public.

  • There must be sufficient volunteers along the route, who can assist if necessary.

  • There must be a final summary after the race, where all incidents that occurred along the way are evaluated and lessons learned for next year's race.

This HSE plan is not exhaustive and can be expanded as needed. The ride management must always be aware of potential dangers and take the necessary precautions to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
